We are seeking an experienced IT System Administrator to support IT systems and provide technical assistance across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in system administration, troubleshooting, and IT operations, with a focus on learning and growing into more advanced responsibilities. This hybrid role requires to work on-site at the Greenwood Village office three days per week (Tues-Thurs).
Key Responsibilities
System Administration and Maintenance:
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with IT systems, including network infrastructure, VPNs, firewalls, and endpoint devices.
- Assist with routine maintenance, such as applying patches and updates to systems.
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls across platforms.
User Support and Troubleshooting:
- Respond to and resolve IT-related incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service by supporting users with hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Document resolutions and create user-friendly guides for common issues.
Audit and Compliance Support:
- Assist with internal and external audit requests related to IT systems.
- Help ensure IT processes align with compliance standards, including basic security protocols.
Web Administration and Support:
- Perform routine updates, patch management, and troubleshooting for the corporate website, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- Manage updates to website content using WordPress, adhering to corporate branding and compliance standards.
- Implement and monitor website security measures, such as SSL certificates, vulnerability scans, and secure plugin configurations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate third-party tools, analytics platforms, and SEO best practices.
- Use website monitoring tools to ensure uptime and performance metrics, generating regular reports for stakeholders.
- Provide technical support for website-related issues and train staff on basic content management functions.
Project Support:
- Collaborate with senior team members to assist with IT infrastructure projects.
- Participate in implementing and documenting IT solutions to improve efficiency.
Process and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate documentation for IT systems, procedures, and configurations.
- Contribute to the creation and updating of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications and Skills:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in IT system administration, user support, or similar roles.
- Basic knowledge of network administration (LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls).
- Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) for ticketing and service management.
- Familiarity Microsoft 365 Suite, Confluence.
- Understanding of IT security fundamentals, such as account access control and system monitoring.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certifications (preferred).
- ITIL Foundation certification (preferred).
The Denver Area base salary range for this full-time position is $87,000 – $105,000 and can vary if outside of this location. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
